Qualification: Diploma / B.Sc / B.Tech in Safety, Environment, Chemical, or Industrial Safety (with DIS/ADIS/PG Diploma in Industrial Safety preferred)
Transportation: Company-provided transportation from Vadodara

Job Description:

We are looking for a vigilant and proactive Safety Supervisor to implement and monitor safety procedures at our manufacturing site. The candidate will ensure safe work practices are followed, identify hazards, conduct training, and ensure compliance with applicable safety norms and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and enforce safety policies and practices across the plant
• Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments
• Ensure compliance with Factories Act, GPCB, CPCB, and DISH norms
• Investigate incidents/accidents and recommend preventive measures (Root Cause Analysis)
• Train employees on fire safety, PPE usage, emergency evacuation, and chemical handling
• Supervise hazardous waste handling, storage, and disposal in accordance with regulations
• Maintain safety-related records, permits, and documentation (SOPs, MSDS, etc.)
• Ensure fire extinguishers, safety showers, alarms, and other safety equipment are in working condition
• Coordinate with statutory and government bodies during inspections and audits

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of safety standards in chemical/pharma industries
• Good understanding of hazardous material handling and industrial hygiene
• Ability to identify unsafe practices and implement corrective measures
• Strong documentation, observation, and communication skills
• Familiar with HIRA, JSA, and EHS reporting procedures
